The new feature operates similarly to those found in Canva and Google Pixel devices, allowing users to delete objects from images. However, Adobe’s feature distinguishes itself by offering three different alternative images to replace the deleted object, giving users the freedom to choose the best option.

The Generative Extraction feature is currently in beta and available for free. However, it is expected that the stable version will be integrated into the “Generative Credit” system, similar to other Firefly tools. These credit packages start at $4.99.

Additionally, Adobe announced the new Lens Blur feature for Lightroom users. This tool allows users to apply a desired blurring effect to specific parts of a photo. The feature works like a filter, enabling users to select presets or customize their own settings.
