Google has begun offering its Veo 3 video creation model on the Vertex AI platform. In addition, a brand-new version called Veo 3 Fast has been introduced.
Google officially unveiled its AI model named Veo 3 in recent months. This model took the world by storm upon its release, succeeding by creating highly realistic videos from text prompts. Its most significant feature was also its ability to produce videos with audio.
Now, significant developments have occurred regarding Veo 3. In a blog post shared yesterday, Google stated that the Veo 3 video generation model is now available to all users on the Vertex AI platform. Furthermore, a brand-new version named “Veo 3 Fast” was officially announced. Veo 3 Fast comes as a lighter version capable of faster processing.
The Veo 3 Fast model, which has started to be offered to Vertex AI users, is a lighter version of Veo 3. According to Google, this version will be aimed at users who want to get their work done faster. In other words, we can say it will produce videos more quickly than Veo 3.
In the statements made about Veo 3 Fast, it was noted that the model specializes in rapidly creating and testing variations of a company’s advertisements, can produce video introductions for products based on provided visuals, and can even create educational materials. The company has likened Veo 3 to Gemini 2.5 Flash. It was emphasized that despite being a lighter version, its outputs are successful. It’s also worth adding that Veo 3 Fast videos can include audio and will be in 1080p quality.
