Notably, China is expected to play a leading role in these investments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Those keeping up with the technology scene have likely noticed a significant trend towards the Metaverse recently.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The concept of the Metaverse often conjures up images of a vast, expansive universe, similar to the themes explored in the movie &#8220;Ready Player One.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the Metaverse, the possibilities are virtually limitless. It is well-known that many social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram, and even Google, are restricted in China.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Given this context, it would seem impractical for China to endorse a Metaverse developed by Facebook, and indeed, it hasn&#8217;t been approved yet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Consequently, China has embarked on creating its own Metaverse.
