To fix this, sci-fi gave us <strong>Warp Drives<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In 1994, a Mexican physicist named Miguel Alcubierre took <em>Star Trek<\/em> seriously and wondered if a warp drive was mathematically possible under Einstein&#8217;s equations. Probably not. But knowing that the math allows for it means it&#8217;s a question of engineering, not impossibility.
