While the system captures <strong>carbon dioxide<\/strong> directly from the <strong>turbine exhaust<\/strong>, it uses the <strong>waste heat<\/strong> emerging in the process for additional <strong>electricity generation<\/strong>. Thanks to this approach, a <strong>CO2 capture rate<\/strong> of over <strong>95%<\/strong> is achieved, and there is no need for <strong>steam generation<\/strong> or complex <strong>combined cycle conversions<\/strong>. This makes it possible to reduce <strong>emissions<\/strong> while maintaining the flexibility and dispatchability of existing power plants. In terms of technical features, <strong>CapsolGT<\/strong> stands out as a solution that can also respond to the rapidly increasing <strong>electricity demand<\/strong> originating from <strong>data centers<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Natural gas<\/strong> preserves its central position in the country&#8217;s <strong>energy mix<\/strong> by meeting approximately <strong>36%<\/strong> of <strong>US electricity generation<\/strong> as of <strong>2024<\/strong>.
