Mercedes has unveiled the completely renewed 2026 GLB<\/strong>. Launching initially as exclusively electric<\/strong>, the model stands out with a range of up to 630 km<\/strong>, a modern design<\/strong>, and an advanced digital cockpit<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mercedes has showcased the fully redesigned 2026 GLB<\/strong>. Retaining the silhouette of the first generation, the new model comes with both 5-seater<\/strong> and 7-seater<\/strong> options. Like other models, the new GLB will initially be offered only as electric<\/a><\/em><\/strong>. The hybrid option<\/strong> will go on sale in the coming period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What does the 2026 Mercedes<\/a><\/em> GLB offer in terms of features?<\/strong> Mercedes announced two different versions for the electric GLB. The entry-level GLB 250+ EQ Technology<\/strong> comes with an 85 kWh battery pack<\/strong> and 800V architecture<\/strong>. The rear-positioned electric motor produces 268 hp<\/strong> and 335 Nm of torque<\/strong>. The model, which accelerates from 0-100 km\/h in 7.4 seconds<\/strong>, offers a range of 630 km<\/strong> on a single charge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The family’s more powerful option, the GLB 350 4Matic EQ Technology<\/strong>, uses the same 85 kWh battery<\/strong> but features an additional electric motor on the front axle<\/strong>. This version has a total system power of 349 hp<\/strong> and 515 Nm of torque<\/strong>. Completing the 0-100 km\/h sprint in 5.5 seconds<\/strong>, the four-wheel drive<\/strong> model promises a range of 615 km<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mercedes also announced that it will offer a more affordable entry-level electric GLB version<\/strong> next year, followed by hybrid versions<\/strong> with 48V technology<\/strong> in different power levels with front or all-wheel drive. The new GLB features a more modern front face, following the footsteps of models like the CLA<\/strong> and GLC<\/strong>. The large grille<\/strong>, star-patterned daytime LEDs<\/strong>, and headlight design<\/strong> combined with light strips give the model a characteristic look. At the rear, vertical taillights<\/strong> inspired by the Vision EQXX concept<\/strong> and the light strips connecting them draw attention.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the cockpit side, it is possible to see Mercedes’ recent design line. The model can be equipped with the Mercedes Superscreen<\/strong> as an option. This giant screen layout consists of a 10.25-inch digital instrument panel<\/strong>, a 14-inch central infotainment screen<\/strong>, and a 14-inch third screen<\/strong> on the passenger side. The minimalist cockpit<\/strong> with an almost completely flat body reflects the brand’s new interior approach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 2026 Mercedes GLB<\/strong> makes a more ambitious entry into the electric compact SUV market<\/strong>, while it will further expand its product range with hybrid options<\/strong> coming in the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
