The Men in Black<\/strong> series may return to the big screen<\/strong> after years. Preparations have begun for the fifth movie<\/a><\/em><\/strong> in the franchise. Moreover, Will Smith<\/strong> might make a comeback.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Achieving massive success, particularly with the first two films released in 1997<\/strong> and 2002<\/strong>, the Men in Black<\/strong> series last appeared in cinemas with the 2019<\/strong> production, Men in Black: International<\/strong>. Following this unsuccessful reboot<\/strong> attempt, Sony<\/strong> left the series dormant for a while. However, the studio now seems to think it is time to revive the franchise, as they have started preparations for a new Men in Black<\/strong> movie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chris Bremner<\/strong> (Bad Boys: Ride or Die<\/strong>) has been tasked with writing the screenplay<\/strong> for this new film being developed under the Sony<\/strong> umbrella.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Choice of Chris Bremner Suggests Will Smith Could Be in Men in Black 5<\/strong> Information about this new project, which is still in the early stages, is quite limited; therefore, it is unknown whether the original series stars Will Smith<\/strong> and Tommy Lee Jones<\/strong> will be part of this new film. However, the fact that Sony<\/strong> chose Chris Bremner<\/strong>, who worked with Will Smith on the Bad Boys<\/strong> series, strengthens the possibility of Smith participating in this project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chris Hemsworth<\/strong> and Tessa Thompson<\/strong>, the leads of Men in Black: International<\/strong>, are not expected to be involved in this project. The previous reboot<\/strong>, which aimed to reset and renew the series, turned into a complete disappointment for Sony<\/strong>. Consequently, it is believed that the studio prefers to completely forget that experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
