New details about these glasses have emerged. Last month, Samsung officially announced the long-awaited Apple Vision Pro<\/strong> rival, the Galaxy XR<\/strong> headset. The device came with many features such as a Snapdragon XR2+ processor<\/strong>, 16 GB RAM<\/strong>, micro-OLED screens<\/strong> offering a 109-degree horizontal<\/strong> and 100-degree vertical field of view<\/strong>, and AI support<\/strong>. It was announced that the device, released only in the US<\/strong> and South Korea<\/strong>, would be sold for $1,799.99<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, the glasses Samsung developed were not just the Galaxy XR. It was rumored that the company was developing another pair of smart glasses<\/strong> suitable for daily use<\/strong>, similar to Meta Ray-Ban<\/a><\/em><\/strong>. New information has now emerged about these glasses, codenamed “Haean<\/strong>“.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is stated that these glasses, bearing the model number SM-O200P<\/strong>, will have transition lenses<\/strong>. This means the lenses can darken in direct sunlight<\/strong> and become more transparent indoors<\/strong>. On the other hand, it is added that they will have a built-in camera<\/strong>, Wi-Fi<\/strong>, and Bluetooth support<\/strong>, but will not come with their own mobile data connection<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Information about the camera had appeared in previous leaks. It was said that the camera could use a 12 MP Sony IMX681 CMOS sensor<\/strong> with QR code<\/strong> and motion recognition<\/strong> features. Apart from these, it was also reported that it would be powered by Qualcomm\u2019s AR1 chipset<\/strong> and include a 155 mAh battery<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
