Bad news<\/strong> for those using Google<\/strong>‘s popular AI tools Gemini 3 Pro<\/strong> and Nano Banana Pro<\/strong> without a subscription! Due to heavy usage<\/strong>, Google has introduced new limitations for free users<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Google<\/strong> has implemented new restrictions for non-subscribers of its widely used AI tools, Gemini 3 Pro<\/strong> and Nano Banana Pro<\/strong>. When Gemini 3 Pro<\/a><\/em><\/strong> was first released, free users could enter a maximum of five commands<\/strong> per day. Using Nano Banana Pro<\/strong>, the image tool supported by Gemini 3 Pro, they were able to generate or edit a maximum of three images<\/strong> per day. Google<\/a><\/em><\/strong> has recently updated these limits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What are the changes for free users of Gemini 3 Pro and Nano Banana Pro?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Free users<\/strong> now only have basic access<\/strong>, and daily limits will change frequently. This likely means free users will be able to utilize the tools less than before. The image limit<\/strong> for Nano Banana Pro<\/strong> is now two per day<\/strong>. Google states that the changes are due to “high demand<\/strong>.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There is also a change for those using NotebookLM<\/strong>, another AI tool from Google. Free users have lost the ability to prepare infographics<\/strong> and slides<\/strong> supported by Nano Banana Pro<\/strong>. Additional limitations have also been introduced for Pro users<\/strong> regarding these features. Google notes that these changes are happening “temporarily<\/strong>” due to capacity issues<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is important to note that limitations have not changed for Pro<\/strong> or Ultra users<\/strong>. These updates mostly affect free users<\/strong> because demand for the tools is high.
