The release date for the long-awaited expansion pack World of Warcraft: Midnight<\/strong> has finally been finalized. After intense rumors, Blizzard<\/strong> opened the new expansion for pre-order<\/strong> and announced that it will launch on March 2, 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Constituting the middle chapter of the Worldsoul Saga<\/strong> trilogy led by Chris Metzen<\/strong>, who left Blizzard<\/strong> in 2016 and returned in 2023, Midnight<\/strong> follows the events after The War Within<\/strong>. The great chaos beginning with Xal’atath’s<\/strong> return to Azeroth<\/strong> extends to the center of Eversong Woods<\/strong>, the homeland of the Blood Elves<\/strong>. Meanwhile, the Voidstorm<\/strong> gathering over the ancient elven kingdom Quel\u2019thalas<\/strong> creates a danger of extinguishing all light.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The expansion pack offers players a very broad content list, ranging from new zones<\/strong> to in-game systems<\/strong>. The new map layout where Eversong Woods<\/strong> merges with Ghostlands<\/strong>, areas like Zul\u2019Aman<\/strong> and Harandar<\/strong>, the Voidstorm region<\/strong>, 11 Delves<\/strong>, 8 dungeons<\/strong>, and 3 raids<\/strong> make up Midnight’s<\/strong> core content. Additionally, the new Haranir Allied Race<\/strong>, the Devourer specialization<\/strong> added to the Demon Hunter<\/strong> class, the new PvP mode Training Grounds<\/strong>, a new battleground, and the completely redesigned Silvermoon City<\/strong> are among the prominent headlines of this expansion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After the release date became clear, the most talked-about detail was the entry of the long-requested player housing<\/strong> system into the game with this pack. Although the actual expansion will open for access in March, users who pre-order<\/strong> the expansion will be able to access this feature early on December 2<\/strong>.
