BYD’s new electric pickup truck<\/strong> model, the T4<\/strong>, offers passenger comfort in urban distribution with a 62.3 kWh battery<\/strong>, 330 km range<\/strong>, 204 hp power<\/strong>, fast charging<\/strong>, and advanced safety systems<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

BYD<\/strong> has initiated a comprehensive transformation focused on comfort, safety, and efficiency in the urban distribution segment by introducing its new-generation light commercial truck<\/strong>, the T4<\/strong> model, at the Wuhan International Commercial Vehicle Show<\/strong>. At the launch, all of the model’s technical and user-focused developments were shared in detail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With the T4<\/strong> model, BYD<\/strong> aims to break the long-standing perception in the small truck segment of “just carrying cargo.” BYD’s globally prominent three-electric system<\/strong> (battery, motor, and electronic control) elevates both the efficiency and driving comfort<\/strong> of the T4<\/strong> to the level of a passenger vehicle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The model comes with a 62.3 kWh<\/strong> capacity Blade LFP battery<\/strong> and offers a 330-kilometer range<\/strong> on the CLTC cycle<\/strong>. The design approach, based on safety and comfort, completely changes the traditional driving feel of small trucks. Consequently, the cabin experience is arranged from top to bottom according to passenger car standards. The interior features the DiLink infotainment system<\/strong> and an LCD instrument panel<\/strong>. Features like an ergonomic keypad, leather seats<\/strong>, and temperature control are included. The vehicle, capable of carrying a 3-ton load<\/strong>, provides 20 percent more carrying capacity than other similar vehicles. The vehicle, which has an internal length of 4,100 mm, produces 204 horsepower<\/strong> with its 150 kW motor<\/strong>. The vehicle can easily climb 35% grade ramps<\/strong> even when fully loaded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The battery’s direct cooling<\/strong> with refrigerant also enables fast charging<\/strong>, providing \u201c100 km of range in 10 minutes<\/strong>.\u201d Furthermore, EPB<\/strong> (Electric Parking Brake), ESC<\/strong> (Electronic Stability Control), and more than 10 other driving assistance functions<\/strong> come as standard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The BYD T4<\/strong> is also highly competitive in total cost of ownership<\/strong>, thanks to the company’s 10-year, 800,000 km warranty<\/strong> on its three-electric system<\/strong>. The starting price<\/strong> of the vehicle is approximately $13,500<\/strong> (95,800 yuan).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
