Players will be able to hunt giant machines and create their own characters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Sony<\/strong> and the Korean game company <strong>NCSoft<\/strong> have officially announced they are developing a new <strong>MMO<\/strong> game set in the popular <strong>Horizon<\/strong> series&#8217; universe. The nearly 10-minute announcement video featured cinematic and <strong>pre-alpha<\/strong> gameplay footage, along with developer interviews. The video shows players navigating natural environments and familiar metal structures while battling giant machines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Players will take on the role of a <strong>machine hunter<\/strong> in a region called the <strong>Deathlands<\/strong>, inspired by <strong>Arizona<\/strong> and <strong>New Mexico<\/strong>. Players will now be able to create their own characters instead of playing as <strong>Aloy<\/strong>, who has been the series&#8217; main character until now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Sony<\/strong> and <strong>NCSoft<\/strong> have not yet shared any information about the game&#8217;s <strong>release date<\/strong>.
