Most importantly, this achievement is <strong>repeatable<\/strong>, allowing it to be verified on other <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/metaverseplanet.net\/blog\/quantum-computers-unlocking-the-future-of-computing\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"28807\">quantum computers<\/a><\/strong>. In a second study, which has not yet undergone <strong>peer review<\/strong>, researchers suggest that this method could revolutionize <strong>drug discovery<\/strong> and <strong>next-generation battery designs<\/strong>. However, for these applications to become a reality, <strong>quantum computers<\/strong> that are <strong>10,000 times more powerful<\/strong> than current machines are needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Google team, which includes <strong>2025 Nobel Physics Prize<\/strong> winner <strong>Michel H. Devoret<\/strong>, is determined to scale up their machines and increase their accuracy to reach this goal.
