That system is capable of continuing to generate energy even in <strong>Category 5 hurricane winds<\/strong>, reaching up to <strong>260 kilometers per hour<\/strong>. Furthermore, the platform&#8217;s <strong>V-shaped tower<\/strong> and <strong>Y-shaped floating foundation<\/strong> are designed to maintain <strong>stability<\/strong> and <strong>efficiency<\/strong> even in waters exceeding <strong>100 meters<\/strong> in depth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Earlier this year, another Chinese company, <strong>CRRC<\/strong>, announced that it had installed the <strong>world&#8217;s largest floating offshore wind turbine<\/strong> in Shandong province. The <strong>20 MW Qihang prototype<\/strong> had a diameter of <strong>260 meters<\/strong> and a hub height of <strong>151 meters<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe title=\"Mingyang&#039;s OceanX, the World Largest Single-Capacity Floating Wind Power Platform\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/6hExdT_1NhQ?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The company\u2019s CEO and Chairman, <strong>Zhang Chuanwei<\/strong>, announced that the <strong>mass production<\/strong> of the turbine is planned for <strong>2026<\/strong>.
