Speaking at the Future of Global Markets 2025 event organized by Citadel Securities, Huang emphasized that Chinese technology companies<\/strong> are now completely turning to domestic solutions<\/strong>. It was announced that due to US export restrictions<\/strong>, Nvidia<\/strong> cannot sell any high-end GPU<\/strong> or artificial intelligence accelerator<\/strong> to China<\/strong>. The company’s market share in China<\/strong> was at 95% only two years ago. However, the existing trade restrictions<\/strong> prevent Nvidia<\/a><\/em><\/strong> from offering its H100, H200, and Blackwell<\/strong>-based solutions to Chinese customers<\/strong>. Huang said, “Our revenue forecasts for China<\/strong> are currently zero. If we can sell again someday, that would be a bonus for us.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the Chinese<\/strong> side, local manufacturers such as Huawei<\/strong> and Cambricon<\/strong> are rapidly gaining strength. Huawei<\/strong> has gained a large share in the market with its Vera Rubin<\/strong>-based chip series, developed as a rival to Nvidia’s data center<\/strong> series. However, it is uncertain whether even this model will be approved by the US<\/strong>.
