The driver assistance system, marketed by the company as \u201c<strong>Full Self-Driving (Supervised)<\/strong>,\u201d is being reinstated with this mode, which disregards speed limits, in the latest update. However, the company did the opposite by bringing back the \u201c<strong>Mad Max<\/strong>\u201d mode, which symbolizes an <strong>aggressive driving style<\/strong>. The new mode is part of Tesla&#8217;s <strong>Full Self-Driving (FSD)<\/strong> software, which is classified as a Level 2 <strong>autonomous driving system<\/strong> and is claimed to reach Level 4 full autonomy in the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The FSD v14 release last week was the first major update in nearly a year and had added a slower driving profile called \u201c<strong>Sloth Mode<\/strong>.\u201d The company is now adding the complete opposite to the table with the FSD v14.1.2 version: the \u201c<strong>Mad Max<\/strong>\u201d mode. At the time, Elon Musk stated that it offered a more assertive driving profile, especially in complex conditions like Los Angeles traffic. The <strong>Mad Max<\/strong> mode in the new version is promoted similarly.
