The Copilot<\/strong> application for Windows<\/strong> can now directly create Word<\/strong>, Excel<\/strong>, PowerPoint<\/strong>, and PDF<\/strong> files. Additionally, Gmail<\/strong> and Outlook<\/strong> accounts can be connected to the application.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Microsoft has renewed the Copilot<\/strong> application for Windows<\/strong> with a significant update. Users can now directly create Word<\/strong>, Excel<\/strong>, PowerPoint<\/strong>, and PDF<\/strong> files through Copilot<\/strong>, and they can access their online content by connecting the application to their Gmail<\/strong> and Outlook<\/strong> accounts. The update is initially being rolled out to all Windows Insider<\/strong> users and will subsequently be expanded to all Windows 11<\/strong> users.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With the new version, users can convert their ideas, notes, or data into shareable and editable documents simply by giving a command. The Copilot<\/strong> team states that a default export button<\/strong> is now available for long responses (600 characters and over). This button allows content to be saved directly in Word<\/strong>, PowerPoint<\/strong>, Excel<\/strong>, or PDF<\/strong> format.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition, users can connect Copilot<\/strong> with their Outlook<\/strong> or Gmail<\/strong> accounts to access content and contact information within their emails. For example, finding all invoices from a company or retrieving a contact address becomes possible through Copilot<\/strong>. This feature is entirely optional, meaning users must manually add their accounts via the application’s interface. Supported connections include OneDrive<\/strong>, Outlook<\/strong>, Google Drive<\/strong>, Gmail<\/strong>, Google Calendar<\/strong>, and Google Contacts<\/strong>. Microsoft is introducing the Copilot<\/strong> update ahead of the new OneDrive<\/strong> application planned for introduction next year. Meanwhile, the renewed OneDrive<\/strong> application aims to enhance the user experience with a new gallery view, AI-powered<\/strong> slideshows, and improved editing features.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
