Renault<\/strong> is once again bringing together retro design<\/strong> and electric power. The new Twingo E-Tech<\/strong> will be unveiled in November and targets urban users with its affordable price.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Renault is presenting a new model that combines retro design<\/strong> and electric power<\/strong>. The all-new, fourth-generation Twingo E-Tech<\/strong> will be unveiled on November 6th and will offer a new alternative for electric cars aimed at city use, with a starting price of around 20,000 euros<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Just like the electric Renault 5, the new model draws inspiration from the past. This time, the source is the first-generation Twingo from the 1990s. It will evoke nostalgia<\/strong> for those who remember the original, while serving as a charming alternative for the new generation who have never seen the first model. Based on the new teaser images and last year’s concept design, the 2026 Twingo displays a quite successful design in its own right. Modern LED headlights<\/strong> create a friendly “cartoon face.” The front design, with its large glass surface, is again combined with a short bonnet. However, this time it is a full four-door<\/strong> structure, not a two-door.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Renault 5 E-Tech offers 94 horsepower<\/strong> and a range of 312 km<\/strong> from a 40 kWh battery. However, to keep the Twingo\u2019s price below 20,000 euros<\/strong>, it is likely that these values will be reduced. For example, the group’s other affordable model, the Dacia Spring, provides a range of 225 km with a 24.3 kWh LFP battery<\/strong>. The Twingo’s technical details will be fully disclosed on November 6th<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
