Taiwanese technology company HTC<\/strong>, which has experienced a decline in its smartphone market share in recent years, has unveiled its future vision for the metaverse<\/a><\/em><\/strong> platform named ‘Viverse.’<\/strong> The platform is expected to offer numerous opportunities for user interaction, creating a future where the seemingly impossible becomes possible. HTC<\/strong> highlighted that Viverse<\/strong> will encompass both virtual reality (VR)<\/strong> and augmented reality (AR)<\/strong> equipment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To showcase the capabilities of Viverse<\/strong>, HTC<\/strong> released a YouTube video titled “Viverse \u2014 A Day in the Metaverse with VR, AR, AI, 5G & NFTs.”<\/strong> The video demonstrates various possibilities within Viverse<\/strong>, including fitness<\/strong> activities with virtual reality<\/strong> equipment and virtual drink-tasting<\/strong> events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Moreover, HTC<\/strong> mentioned that the platform will feature art galleries<\/strong> where users can purchase digital artworks<\/strong> as NFTs<\/strong> (non-fungible tokens<\/strong>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The rebranding<\/strong> was announced during Meta<\/strong>‘s annual ‘Connect Conference’<\/strong>.
