The soon-to-be-unveiled Electric Porsche Cayenne<\/strong> will feature a curved OLED infotainment screen<\/strong> called the \u201cFlow Display.\u201d What will the new model offer?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Porsche is preparing to introduce the fully electric Cayenne<\/strong> model, which has been long anticipated. This model will be a new version, independent of the current gasoline and plug-in hybrid options. Although the entire vehicle will be unveiled later this year, the brand has already shown the interior design<\/strong>. The interior resembles a massive OLED showcase<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Cayenne Electric<\/strong> comes with a new design that Porsche calls the \u201cinterior of the future.\u201d This approach will be reflected in the brand\u2019s other models in the future. At the center of the dashboard is the curved OLED screen<\/strong> dubbed the \u201cFlow Display<\/strong>.\u201d Still, not all controls are located on the touchscreen; physical buttons<\/strong> are maintained for essential functions like temperature, fan speed, and volume.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Next to this curved screen<\/strong>, there’s a 14.25-inch OLED digital instrument cluster<\/strong>, an optional 87-inch augmented reality head-up display<\/strong>, and a 14.9-inch screen<\/strong> on the passenger side. On the technology front, it includes the Porsche Digital Key<\/strong> feature, which can be shared by up to seven users, and a new AI-powered voice assistant<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Porsche states that the new Cayenne Electric<\/strong> offers more personalization<\/strong> than ever before, with 13 interior color combinations<\/strong>, four interior packages, five accent packages, expanded ambient lighting<\/strong>, and five different digital theme options. Additionally, a new feature called \u201cMood Modes<\/strong>\u201d is coming, which coordinates lighting, climate control, audio, and seats based on the driver’s preferences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The interior offers new leather options<\/strong> such as Magnesium Grey, Lavender, and Sage Grey. There is also a vegan-friendly Race-Tex upholstery<\/strong> option covered with Pepita-patterned fabric<\/strong>, a nod to Porsche’s history.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The options list features the largest glass roof<\/strong> in Porsche’s history. The front section of this roof can be opened, and different transparency settings<\/strong> (clear, translucent, matte) can be applied. Surface heating<\/strong> integrated into the armrests and door panels is another notable innovation. The rear seats are electrically adjustable<\/strong> and can be configured by prioritizing either passenger comfort or luggage volume.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Camouflaged prototypes captured by cameras indicate that the Cayenne Electric<\/strong> will be launched in both classic SUV<\/strong> and coupe-SUV<\/strong> forms. The design retains the lines of the current Cayenne, while details taken from the Macan EV<\/strong> and a more aerodynamic silhouette<\/strong> are prominent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The vehicle’s platform is the improved Premium Platform Electric (PPE)<\/strong>. The most powerful version is expected to produce more than 1,000 horsepower<\/strong>, surpassing the 730 hp of today’s Cayenne Turbo S E-Hybrid. Coming with a 113 kWh battery pack<\/strong>, the new Cayenne will offer a range of more than 595 km<\/strong>. It will also support 400 kW fast charging<\/strong> and wireless charging<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new Cayenne Electric<\/strong> will come with the Porsche Active Ride Suspension<\/strong> system and offer a towing capacity<\/strong> of up to 3,500 kg<\/strong>. This is on par with mid-size internal combustion trucks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The official launch of the vehicle will take place later this year. Until then, Porsche is expected to share more details step by step.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
