Of course, you have the option to opt out. The most popular social network for business, <strong>LinkedIn<\/strong>, announced that starting on November 3, it will begin using user profiles, posts, resumes, and other public activities to train its <strong>AI models<\/strong>. The biggest point of contention is that this feature will be <strong>on by default<\/strong>. Any information collected before then will <strong>remain in the training environment<\/strong>. The new policy will cover millions of profiles not only in the UK but also in <strong>EU countries, the EEA, Switzerland, Canada, and Hong Kong<\/strong>. <strong>Microsoft<\/strong> is not facing any issues with this approach at this stage, as it has classified leaving the setting on by default as a &#8220;<strong>legitimate interest<\/strong>&#8221; within the legal framework.
