However, this week, the company announced that it has abandoned its plan to electrify its entire model range and will continue to focus on its current &#8220;<strong>multi-energy<\/strong>&#8221; strategy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Opel stands out as the first German brand to offer options in every model segment, including electric, <strong>plug-in hybrid<\/strong>, and <strong>internal combustion engine<\/strong> vehicles. A company statement said, &#8220;This strategy does not have to be limited to 2028; it can change depending on demand.&#8221; Opel will continue to focus on electric vehicles in markets like Germany, the UK, and France, but will also offer other powertrain options based on demand.
