Elon Musk’s AI company, xAI, has made Grok<\/a><\/em> Imagine<\/strong>, a tool capable of generating images and videos, available to SuperGrok<\/strong> and Premium+ X subscribers<\/strong> via its iOS application. However, the most-talked-about feature of this new tool is its permission to generate 18+ adult content<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Developed by xAI, Grok Imagine is a powerful media production tool that can create images and 15-second videos<\/strong> from text or visual prompts in seconds. The application also has an option called “spicy mode<\/strong>.” This mode allows users to generate sexually explicit images<\/strong> that contain partial nudity. However, once a certain threshold is exceeded, the system censors the generated content by blurring it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Controversially, Grok Imagine also allows users to include famous names<\/strong> in their visual prompts. However, there are some restrictions. For example, tests conducted by TechCrunch to show Donald Trump as pregnant were unsuccessful; the system only generated images of Trump with a baby or a pregnant woman.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Grok Imagine aims to be a direct competitor to AI giants like Google<\/a><\/em> DeepMind<\/strong>, OpenAI<\/strong>, and Runway<\/strong>. In a post on X, Elon Musk<\/a><\/em><\/strong> stated that the system will get better every day. xAI had already drawn attention last month by releasing an anime-based AI companion<\/strong> that generated “extremely sexual” content. Therefore, it’s not surprising that Grok Imagine allows for 18+ content. However, it’s likely that the system will become the focus of ethical and legal debates<\/strong> in the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
