The company set a new record by delivering over 30,000 electric vehicles<\/strong> in July alone. During this period, the production line became completely full, and a significant portion of orders will be delayed until 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to shared details, on June 26th, the official launch day of the Xiaomi YU7<\/strong>, 200,000 locked orders<\/strong> were received in just three minutes. This number exceeded 240,000<\/strong> within the first 18 hours, demonstrating Xiaomi’s rapid and impactful entry into the automotive scene. However, this success also brings production challenges due to the high demand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Xiaomi’s current production capacity is struggling to keep up with orders. Data from the company’s mobile application indicates that for a customer placing a new YU7<\/strong> order today, the delivery date has been extended by up to 59 weeks<\/strong>. This means the vehicle cannot be delivered until the second half of 2026<\/strong>. Xiaomi, however, has taken action to overcome this challenge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A large-scale recruitment process for Phase Two production facilities<\/strong> began in early July. The company’s goal is to rapidly reach a production capacity level that can meet the increasing demand. However, it seems impossible to fulfill orders without increasing production in the short term.
