Tesla<\/strong> has delisted its flagship electric vehicles, the Model S<\/strong> and Model X<\/strong>, from sale in Europe<\/strong> due to low sales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once the top-tier models in the electric car industry, the Tesla<\/a><\/em> Model S<\/strong> and Model X<\/strong> now occupy a small space in the company’s product portfolio. Tesla<\/strong> has completely withdrawn these models, which had very low sales figures, from the European market<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Only Inventory Vehicles Are Available for Sale<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Tesla<\/strong> has updated its European<\/strong> websites, removing the option to place new orders for the Model S<\/strong> and Model X<\/strong>. Instead, it only allows the purchase of remaining inventory vehicles. The company had ceased production of the right-hand-drive versions of these models in 2023 and also discontinued their sales in China earlier this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now, the only major markets where the Model S<\/strong> and Model X<\/strong> are sold are the United States<\/strong> and Canada<\/strong>. This year, Tesla<\/strong> introduced multi-color ambient lighting and a few minor updates to the Model S<\/strong> and Model X<\/strong>, while also increasing their prices. The lack of any significant updates to these two flagship electric vehicles for years indicates that the company is moving on from its first beloved models. Customers seem to be aware of this, as sales figures remain quite low.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In recent years, the Model S<\/strong> and Model X<\/strong> have been grouped under the “Other Models” category in Tesla’s<\/strong> production and delivery reports, alongside the Cybertruck<\/strong> and Semi<\/strong>. In the first half of the year, only 23,275 units were delivered in this “Other Models” category, while global deliveries of the Model 3<\/strong> and Model Y<\/strong> approached 700,000.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
