Bentley<\/strong> has unveiled its new concept vehicle, the EXP 15<\/strong>, in preparation for its first electric car set to launch in 2026. This vehicle, described as an “elevated sporty sedan<\/strong>,” largely departs from the brand’s traditional design language.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The EXP 15<\/strong> boasts a design philosophy quite distinct from typical Bentley lines. This triple character\u2014part coupe, part sedan, part crossover\u2014is defined by Bentley Design Director Robin Page<\/strong> as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“The SUV segment continues to grow, and we are well-acquainted with the GT segment through four generations of the Continental GT. However, the most complex segment is the sedan, because this class is undergoing a transformation. While some desire the classic three-box sedan form, others prefer a single-volume design or taller vehicles. This car is an opportunity to communicate with customers and understand their expectations.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The front of the EXP 15<\/strong> is shaped by a new design language called “Upright Elegance<\/strong>.” Its large, closed grille, with integrated lights, evokes the classic Bentley grille while being presented as a digital work of art. Vertically placed headlights, the new winged Bentley emblem, and an illuminated hood ornament are also part of this innovative approach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The side profile features a flat hood, black A-pillars, and a rearward-sloping black roof. The roofline, contrasting with the bright silver-gold body, is complemented by aerodynamically optimized wheels and an elevated body. One intriguing detail is the three-door design<\/strong>: a single door on the driver’s side and two doors on the passenger side. However, the unusual aspect isn’t just the number of doors; the EXP 15 has no front passenger seat!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Just like its exterior, the vehicle’s interior is full of unconventional details. There are only three seats<\/strong> in the vehicle, and in place of the front passenger seat, a special area has been designed for pets or luggage<\/strong>. Bentley has developed a dog bed<\/strong> that can be integrated into this space. Alternatively, two suitcases can be placed in this compartment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The remaining passenger seat is mounted in the rear and can be adjusted into three different positions: Standard, Relax, and Co-Pilot (moved forward next to the driver). The seat can also swivel 45 degrees outwards, making it easier to enter the vehicle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bentley has not shared many technical details about the EXP 15<\/strong>. However, it has been stated that this concept will feature an all-electric, all-wheel-drive powertrain<\/strong>, offer a long range<\/strong>, and support fast charging<\/strong> to meet the expectations of Bentley customers.<\/a><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n
