The U.S. National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA<\/strong>) recently announced its new robot named “Grace<\/strong>” at an event. The robot, which will be sent into space, will land on the Moon and conduct research by hopping.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

NASA<\/strong> unveiled a new robot named “Grace<\/strong>” at an event it organized. This robot, developed with contributions from a startup company called Intuitive Machines<\/strong>, will be sent to the Moon to explore our natural satellite.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Grace<\/strong> robot has a very interesting feature: it can hop<\/strong>. The robot, which will be launched into space to explore the Moon’s south pole<\/strong>, will perform 5 hops<\/strong> at different heights after landing on the lunar surface. The purpose of these hops will be to examine lunar craters<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to official statements, Grace<\/strong> will be sent into space aboard a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket<\/strong>. Grace<\/strong> will be placed inside a spacecraft called “Athena<\/strong>,” and if the landing is successful, it will focus on examining the Mons Mouton crater<\/strong> on the Moon. The hopping robot will transmit the data it collects to Athena<\/strong> using a special technology developed by Nokia<\/strong> for communication on the Moon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The upcoming mission will be very important for humanity. This is because NASA<\/strong> has not previously subjected a hopping robot to lunar conditions<\/strong>. We will see if this interesting project can achieve the desired success. If it is successful, it may even be possible to share information about the presence of water on the Moon<\/strong>, as the hopping robot’s purpose is to search for resources<\/strong> there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
