The U.S.-based firm recently released a video, which you can watch below, of their humanoid <strong><em><a href=\"https:\/\/metaverseplanet.net\/blog\/how-advanced-is-your-robot-knowledge\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"22163\">robot<\/a><\/em><\/strong> prototype called <strong>&#8220;Protoclone.&#8221;<\/strong> In this video, a suspended prototype eerily showcases the movement of its hands and feet using its <strong>artificial muscle system<\/strong>, in the most disturbing way possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The company, which distinguishes itself by presenting its developed systems under a <strong>transparent synthetic skin<\/strong>\u2014making every creation look quite unsettling\u2014gained attention last year with a robotic arm system named <strong>&#8220;Clone&#8221;<\/strong> (video below). The company, particularly noted for its <strong>artificial muscle management that mimics tendons<\/strong>, made the following statement about its newly showcased Protoclone prototype: &#8220;Protoclone is a <strong>synthetic human<\/strong> with over <strong>200 degrees of freedom<\/strong>, more than <strong>1,000 Myofibers<\/strong> (the name given to its artificial muscle system), and over <strong>200 sensors<\/strong>.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The company, which aims to eventually sell this robot commercially, brings to mind HBO&#8217;s highly acclaimed series <strong>&#8220;Westworld&#8221;<\/strong> with every new release.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>DEEP Robotics&#8217; Lynx Robot Dog<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe title=\"Protoclone: Bipedal Musculoskeletal Android V1\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/H7dhwFcuUn0?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>In this field, previously released videos by Chinese firm <strong>DEEP Robotics<\/strong> showcasing their <strong>all-terrain robot dog<\/strong> model also generated significant buzz.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>DEEP Robotics&#8217; robot dog, named <strong>Lynx<\/strong>, unlike many similar robots, travels on <strong>wheels<\/strong>. This robot moves with incredible balance and can easily navigate rough terrain despite its wheeled structure, performing <strong>flips very quickly and effortlessly<\/strong>. Combining both its wheels and leg movements when climbing terrain, the robot can easily overcome large obstacles and move very comfortably on two wheels. Lynx&#8217;s performance in its latest video is also impressive; it can now stand on a <strong>single wheel<\/strong> and travel on <strong>two wheels<\/strong>.
