As part of this initiative, the company successfully deployed satellites into orbit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Until now, <strong><em><a href=\"https:\/\/metaverseplanet.net\/blog\/tag\/spacex\/\" data-type=\"post_tag\" data-id=\"153\">SpaceX<\/a><\/em>&#8216;s Starlink<\/strong> has been unmatched in delivering <strong>high-speed internet<\/strong> even to the most remote regions of the world. But new challengers are starting to emerge\u2014and one of them is <strong>Amazon<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In a major move to rival Starlink, the American tech and e-commerce giant launched <strong>mission KA-01<\/strong> early this morning from the state of Florida. While extensive testing has been conducted, the real success of the mission depends on in-flight performance and proper orbital deployment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It&#8217;s still too early to tell whether <strong>Amazon&#8217;s satellite internet project<\/strong> will succeed. It will likely take several years for the service to become operational and competitive.
