This observation is based on the AI&#8217;s intermediate steps when solving problems\u2014suggesting a pattern that closely mirrors how Gemini approaches reasoning tasks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This isn\u2019t the first time DeepSeek has faced such allegations. In an earlier controversy, developers noted that DeepSeek\u2019s <strong>V3 model<\/strong> would occasionally refer to itself as \u201cChatGPT,\u201d raising concerns that it may have been trained on OpenAI\u2019s proprietary dialogue data.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While training models using the outputs of more advanced AIs isn\u2019t a new tactic in the AI community, most companies\u2014especially OpenAI\u2014explicitly prohibit such practices.
