The steps taken to launch the cryptocurrency called Sovereign were aimed at making the island’s economy more resilient and establishing a more independent position within the global financial system. Similar to Bitcoin, the Sovereign was designed with a limited supply, capped at a total of 24 million units. This limitation was intended to make the currency a more valuable and secure investment tool.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
