Internet giant Google has started talks with EssilorLuxottica to develop smart glasses with “Gemini” artificial intelligence at the center.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Google is taking new steps to expand its artificial intelligence projects. According to reports, the company is in active talks with EssilorLuxottica, the umbrella company of Ray-Ban, to develop smart glasses centered around AI called “Gemini.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Google’s plans to develop AI-based smart glasses focus on its discussions with EssilorLuxottica, which controls a significant portion of the eyewear market and has also collaborated with Meta. EssilorLuxottica, which is also in talks with Meta to buy a minority stake, stands out as a logical partner for Google. While Google is working with Samsung on an “XR” headset to rival the Vision Pro, it is also making strategic plans to bring its Gemini AI to a broader audience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
