They Will Develop NFT and Blockchain-Based Games
KRAFTON, Inc., creator of the popular battle royale game PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS , announced that it has signed a business agreement with decentralized blockchain platform Solana Labs to support the design and marketing of blockchain-based games and services. With the agreement, KRAFTON and Solana Labs are set to form a long-term collaborative relationship for the development and operation of blockchain and NFT-based games and services. The two companies will jointly collaborate on the marketing and design of blockchain games and various blockchain technologies, as well as investment opportunities.
KRAFTON announced last month that it would enter the Web 3.0 and NFT space based on its operational experience from PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS . Since then, the company has announced investments and collaborations with partners from NFT, metaverse, and other blockchain-related fields, including Seoul Auction Blue, XX Blue, and NAVER Z (Zepeto).
