According to a report shared by Uswitch, countries leading in metaverse adoption have scored highly based on various factors, including fixed broadband speeds, internet affordability, the prevalence of blockchain financial ventures, and the cost of high-tech exports.
The Netherlands has emerged as the top country globally in terms of metaverse readiness, achieving an overall ‘metaverse readiness score’ of 7.74 out of 10. Switzerland follows closely in second place with a score of 7.61, while Lithuania ranks third with 7.39 and Malta fourth with 7.31. France rounds out the top five, holding a score of 6.96.
In other regions, the United Kingdom is positioned as the seventh most metaverse-ready country with a score of 6.77. The United States ranks twelfth, having a metaverse readiness score of 6.32.
