WhatsApp calls will be much more interesting with Live Translation
According to new information from Samsung, during WhatsApp calls, instant translations will be made and displayed on the screen. This will allow for easy communication even with someone who speaks a language you do not know, effectively eliminating language barriers.
The Samsung Galaxy AI, announced at the beginning of this year, has made significant progress in a short time, introducing one great innovation after another to simplify users’ daily lives. The South Korean technology giant has now announced the live translation feature that will come with One UI 6.1.1 for the Galaxy AI.
This new feature that Samsung is working on will be detailed at the Galaxy Unpacked event to be held on July 10, 2024. The Live Translation feature, which will be available on supported phone models, will be released to users on the same day as Galaxy One UI 6.1.1.
Samsung will also bring real-time language translation to the stock Messages app and third-party messaging apps (including WhatsApp) on Galaxy AI-enabled devices, allowing you to instantly translate text messages and overcome language barriers.
Of course, it’s not yet clear how fast this new live translation feature will work and whether it will cause any delays, but as Galaxy AI continues to improve, it’s expected that these delays will decrease.
