Publicis Groupe Benelux, aiming to integrate new Web 3.0 capabilities into its infrastructure, is turning to the metaverse for recruitment purposes.
Guided by the belief that the talent poised to shape the metaverse is already inhabiting it, the agency beckons these talents through a conspicuous red dial phone located in Decentraland.
By transplanting old-school dial-up technology into an entirely new universe, the agency invites talent to momentarily step away from the virtual world and make their presence known in the real world.
Eva Devos, Co-CEO of Publicis Groupe Belgium, emphasizes that marketers and agencies bear the crucial responsibility of capturing people’s attention in their communications, including within the metaverse.
Devos asserts, “Brands and agencies will be instrumental in facilitating the transition from the real world to the virtual universe, provided they grasp what motivates people to engage there.”
She views the Metaphone as a conduit between universes, offering a novel approach to accessing the creative talents who comprehend the metaverse and can contribute to its development. “All that’s required of them is to respond to the Metaphone,” she notes.
