OpenAI has announced that it will open the GPT Store, which was previously only available to paid subscribers, to everyone. The GPT Store allows users to create personalized ChatGPTs and share them with others.
At its spring event today, OpenAI made important announcements about its artificial intelligence tools. The most notable of these was undoubtedly its newest model, GPT-4o. However, the company also made another announcement that will delight users. The artificial intelligence giant announced that it will offer the GPT Store, which includes personalized chatbots, to everyone. Previously, the GPT Store was only available to paid users.
You will be able to access models in the GPT Store, create your own ChatGPT
Introduced late last year, GPTs allowed users to create their own ChatGPT without requiring any coding knowledge. This enabled the creation of chatbots with specific purposes. At the event, Murati stated that more than 1 million custom GPTs have been created so far.
Now, all users will have access to the GPT Store without needing to become paid subscribers. To enter the store, you only need to log in to ChatGPT. While GPTs are not yet available to everyone, they are expected to be accessible soon. With the GPT Store becoming free, users will likely have the opportunity to create their own ChatGPT models. Although OpenAI has not made a specific statement about this, the GPT Store is intended for generating GPTs.
In the GPT Store, you will also be able to access and use various types of GPTs. For example, a GPT named “Write For Me” in the featured section can write anything you need, while a GPT named “Grimoire” can assist with coding. Although it is not yet available for use, you can browse the GPT Store via this [link](GPT Store).
