It has been claimed that OpenAI is working on a feature that will allow searching within ChatGPT.OpenAI has previously mentioned that searches can be conducted through ChatGPT. There are already several APIs that enable searching, and allegedly, this feature will soon be available within ChatGPT.
This functionality appears to have a range of potential uses. According to shared codes, calls can be answered via ChatGPT. These codes include functionalities for answering a call, video calling, rejecting a call, hanging up, showing an incoming call, an ongoing call, and the ability to display an incoming call.
This feature can be used in different ways
It is stated that OpenAI has started deploying WebRTC services for this purpose. These features could also make it possible for ChatGPT to be used in different ways, essentially transforming ChatGPT into an assistant that can handle phone calls. For example, ChatGPT could be programmed to make calls at specific times, such as, “Call this pizzeria at 6:00 p.m. and order that pizza.” It could also manage our searches for us.
However, the new feature should not be viewed solely through the lens of current artificial intelligence applications. These applications, which were non-existent a few years ago, now stand out as new features of smartphones. In other words, the new features we will see on smartphones in the near future may be directly related to the call-forwarding feature. It is evident that technology giants aim to position artificial intelligence applications as personalized assistants.
