OpenAI, the organization behind ChatGPT, introduced its latest and most advanced AI model, “GPT-4 Turbo,” during its first developer conference in San Francisco.
The newly revealed GPT-4 Turbo marks the pinnacle of OpenAI’s AI technologies, boasting the capability to process context-rich responses up to April 2023.
Unlike its predecessors, which could accept inputs of up to 3,000 words, GPT-4 Turbo can manage inputs as large as 300 pages.
Presently in a preview phase for developers, GPT-4 Turbo is expected to be made widely available in the coming weeks.
An innovative feature now enables users who develop tools with ChatGPT’s API to customize the chatbot to meet their specific requirements.
In addition, OpenAI has declared a fee reduction for businesses and developers utilizing its software.
ChatGPT has achieved significant milestones, reaching approximately 100 million weekly active users. As of August, 80% of Fortune 500 companies were using ChatGPT, a number which has reportedly increased to over 92%.
