Nvidia has recently announced the GH200 superchip, engineered to handle the most challenging AI tasks.
Scheduled for release in 2024, this new chip will feature the same GPU as found in the H100, which is currently recognized as one of the strongest AI chips available.
However, what distinguishes the GH200 is its memory capacity, which is claimed to be three times greater. Systems equipped with the GH200 are expected to be available by the second quarter of 2024.
While Nvidia has not disclosed the GH200’s pricing, for context, the H100 series is presently priced at around $40,000.
