Meta is developing a stronger artificial intelligence system
According to a Wall Street Journal report, Meta, Facebook’s parent company, is in the process of developing an artificial intelligence system intended to rival OpenAI’s most advanced language models. The tech giant plans to unveil this new AI model next year, aiming for it to be several times more potent than its current commercial offering, known as Llama 2.

As per the report, the under-development system will facilitate other businesses in generating services that yield intricate text, analyses, and outputs. Meta reportedly anticipates initiating the training phase of this ambitious large language model project in early 2024.
The news comes amid an increasing surge of interest in the AI market, particularly since the launch of OpenAI’s ChatGPT late last year. Businesses and organizations are swiftly embracing AI capabilities, underscoring the escalating importance of this technology across various sectors.
