Meta Develops Stronger AI System

According to a report from The Wall Street Journal, Meta, the parent company of Facebook, is currently in the stages of developing an artificial intelligence system that aims to compete with OpenAI’s most sophisticated language models.

The technology behemoth has plans to release this new AI model next year, positioning it to be significantly more powerful than its existing commercial version, known as Llama 2.

The report indicates that this system in development is designed to enable other businesses to create services capable of producing complex texts, analyses, and outputs.

Meta is expected to begin the training phase of this ambitious large language model project in early 2024.

This announcement arrives at a time when interest in the AI market is intensifying, especially following the debut of OpenAI’s ChatGPT late last year.

Companies and organizations are rapidly adopting AI technologies, highlighting the growing significance of this innovation in diverse fields.
