Lenovo, the China-based technology giant, has revealed its plans to develop a “metaverse” tailored for remote working requirements. This innovative metaverse is designed to enable even factory workers to work remotely, bridging the virtual and real worlds.
The announcement about this ambitious project was unveiled by Lenovo representatives at the Tech World 2022 event. Company officials emphasized their intention to position this new metaverse as a corporate space.
The Head of Smart Devices at Lenovo described the metaverse as the next significant step forward, while the company’s Chief Technology Officer (CTO) emphasized that the metaverse is much more than just a trendy buzzword.

Furthermore, company executives highlighted their intention to develop a virtual representation of a physical power station as part of their new metaverse project.
They emphasized that the virtual world they are creating will feature realistic textures, providing an immersive and true-to-life virtual experience.
Lenovo also affirmed that even factory workers will have the ability to engage with the real-world business environment through metaverse devices like virtual reality glasses.
