KRAFTON, Inc., the creator of the popular battle royale game PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS, has revealed a business agreement with the decentralized blockchain platform Solana Labs.
The collaboration aims to support the design and marketing of blockchain-based games and services. This agreement establishes a long-term collaborative relationship between KRAFTON and Solana Labs for the development and operation of blockchain and NFT-based games and services.
The partnership will involve joint efforts in marketing and designing blockchain games, exploring various blockchain technologies, and identifying investment opportunities.
KRAFTON had previously announced its entry into the Web 3.0 and NFT space, leveraging its operational experience from PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS.
In the wake of this announcement, the company has been actively engaging in investments and collaborations with partners in the NFT, metaverse, and other blockchain-related fields. Notable collaborations include those with Seoul Auction Blue, XX Blue, and NAVER Z (Zepeto).
