Since OpenAI launched ChatGPT, there have been substantial advancements in the field of artificial intelligence. OpenAI subsequently introduced a video AI application named Sora. This milestone prompted many companies to start developing similar AI technologies. In addition to the recent global release of Kling AI, ByteDance, the company behind TikTok, has now announced a new artificial intelligence application called Jimeng AI.

Developed by ByteDance, the Jimeng AI app is currently available only in China. ByteDance aims to secure a strong position in this growing market, particularly within China, and plans to compete with Kling AI and Zhipu AI. While both of these competitors’ apps are available globally, there is no specified date for the global release of Jimeng AI.

Kling AI has gained significant attention on social media with its video creations and is known as one of the best video-creating AIs. Although Jimeng AI has not yet released any sample videos, the app was launched in China for Android on July 31 and is now available for download on the Apple App Store. Additionally, the app can be accessed through its website.

Among the prominent features of the application, there are options such as creating images from text, creating videos, editing already created content, and editing images and videos. Jimeng AI, which can be used for a fee, has a monthly subscription fee of 69 yuan, or about $10, and an annual subscription fee of 659 yuan, or about $92.
