Beeble AI, a new-generation artificial intelligence model, comes with an investment of $4.75 million. Here are the details about this AI model…
Although we, as end users, are familiar with AI models that can be used in daily life, such as ChatGPT and Google Gemini, the TV and cinema industry is also working on various AI models. The new-generation AI model called Beeble AI is preparing to make a significant impact in the industry with an investment of $4.75 million behind it.
Beeble AI could revolutionize the world of cinema
Visual effects (VFX) have become an indispensable element that has transformed storytelling and creativity in the film industry. However, the high cost of VFX tools makes it difficult for independent filmmakers and content creators working with limited budgets to compete with big productions. Beeble AI, a South Korea-based startup, aims to solve this problem with artificial intelligence.
Beeble AI aims to reduce the high cost of creating Hollywood-quality visual effects by developing virtual lighting solutions for filmmakers and visual effects artists. This will enable low-budget and independent filmmakers to produce visual effects that rival Hollywood-quality productions at lower costs.
The company secured an investment of $4.75 million led by Basis Set Ventures and with the participation of Fika Ventures. Beeble AI CEO and co-founder Hoon Kim stated that they see the company’s current value as $25 million.
The company’s main product, SwitchLight Studio (soon to be renamed Virtual Studio), is a PC application that allows re-lighting and compositing in virtual environments without requiring expensive hardware.
Commenting on the application they developed, the company CEO noted:
“We initially focused on virtual lighting, but we are now moving towards developing comprehensive virtual production studios. In the future, we envision small teams of fewer than 10 artists being able to produce content that rivals major Hollywood studios.”
It seems that AI will have a positive impact on end users as well as aspiring filmmakers who cannot realize their dreams due to the cost. What do you think about this? Don’t forget to share your views with us in the comments.
