Huawei has announced a new scheduled blood pressure measurement feature for its Watch D2 smartwatch, which is expected to be available soon. The new feature will make it easier for users to monitor their blood pressure.
The Huawei Watch D2 already offers on-demand blood pressure measurement. Additionally, it has a standing blood pressure monitoring feature that takes measurements at specific intervals over a 24-hour period and calculates day and night averages. The Watch D2 is now set to receive a new planned blood pressure measurement feature.
Scheduled Blood Pressure Measurement Feature is Coming
This upcoming feature will allow users to set reminders for blood pressure measurements at specific times, either for a single instance or at regular intervals. It is likely that these reminders will come with an automatic start feature, similar to the standing blood pressure measurements. In this case, the watch will automatically begin a measurement a few seconds after the reminder sounds. Nighttime measurements will also be taken without manual input.
The new scheduled blood pressure measurement feature for the Huawei Watch D2 will be rolled out on September 19th. This is the same date that Huawei is expected to unveil its new Watch GT 6 smartwatch.
