The renowned Hell’s Kitchen chef, known for his stern demeanor, Gordon Ramsay, has made his entry into the metaverse.

The Sandbox, a metaverse platform, has revealed the launch of an NFT collection featuring Ramsay. As per The Sandbox’s announcement, this collection will include 2,333 avatars.

Consequently, users of The Sandbox will gain the ability to engage in gaming activities within The Sandbox using avatars based on Ramsay. In a related development, The Sandbox recently unveiled an NFT collection in collaboration with the globally recognized rapper, Snoop Dogg. Data from OpenSea indicates that the renowned rapper’s NFT avatar collection has achieved a trading volume of $12 million.

As the metaverse and Web3 industries persist in their push towards mainstream acceptance, platforms like The Sandbox play a pivotal role in this endeavor through their strategic partnerships. The introduction of the Gordon Ramsay-themed NFT collection is poised to significantly bolster these mainstreaming efforts.


The Sandbox continues to sign important partnerships

Beyond collaborating with high-profile names like The Sandbox, Gordon Ramsay, and Snoop Dogg, The Sandbox has also formed partnerships with globally recognized entities such as Ubisoft, Gucci, Playboy, Warner Music, and HSBC. In a similar vein, Paris Hilton has entered into a partnership with The Sandbox.

Sebastien Borget, COO of The Sandbox, spoke at NFT Paris, highlighting that their platform continues to grow due to the brand recognition it has achieved thus far. The company reports having over 200,000 monthly active users.

The Sandbox has yet to disclose specific details on how to acquire the Gordon Ramsay avatars. The project is anticipated to release a comprehensive statement on this matter in the near future.
