The Honor Robot Phone is a highly unusual concept with a camera that opens from the back and is mounted on a gimbal, allowing it to rotate in all directions.
Honor unveiled another concept phone at the event where it introduced the Magic 8 series. The phone, named the Honor Robot Phone, is a highly unusual concept with a camera that opens from the back and is mounted on a gimbal, allowing it to rotate in all directions.
The phone is currently only seen in a promotional video in CGI format, and no technical details about the device have been provided. The full unveiling of the device will take place at the MWC event in Barcelona at the beginning of March next year.
The camera, which resembles a robot’s head and can rotate in any direction, is capable of interacting with objects it sees, tracking human faces, and recording photos/videos. Naturally, the device performs all these functions using its built-in artificial intelligence capabilities.
Honor views this extraordinary concept device as the smartphone of the future. It is described as a device that autonomously senses, adapts, and forms emotional companionship, much like a robot.
Currently, Honor is introducing this phone strictly as a concept. Whether we will see the device as a final product or still as a concept at the MWC event in March remains uncertain for now.
