Avatar: Fire and Ash to be Released on December 25

Avatar: Fire and Ash takes the audience this time to an ash-covered corner of Pandora. Jake and Neytiri, trying to keep their family together after the death of their son Neteyam, confront the Na’vi tribe known as the Mangkwan, also referred to as the people of fire. Amidst supernatural powers, political tensions, and cultural conflicts, the Sully family struggles with both external threats and their internal grief and guilt. James Cameron explores the darker side of Pandora with the third film in the series.

Familiar faces from previous films in the series, Sam Worthington (Jake Sully), Zoe Saldaña (Neytiri), Sigourney Weaver (Kiri), and Stephen Lang (Quaritch), return in their same roles in this film. They are joined this time by Oona Chaplin, who plays Varang, the charismatic and dangerous leader of the ash people. The cast also includes Britain Dalton, Cliff Curtis, Giovanni Ribisi, Edie Falco, and CCH Pounder.

The first film in the Avatar series grossed $2.9 billion, and the second film grossed $2.3 billion. Therefore, expectations for Avatar 3 are quite high. We will see if the film can meet these expectations when it is released on December 25.
